Waffle On

‘Waffle On’ is a project I worked on in First Year in my subject Broadcast Media. What we had to do was create an informational segment similar to programs like ‘Melbourne Weekender’ and ‘Postcards’ and so on. We chose to base our segment on the Melbourne Weekender program. We had to source our own subject and create our own treatment and script. We chose to present on ‘Waffle On’, a popular waffle cafe in Degraves Street in Melbourne’s CBD.

‘Take your taste buds on a journey with Alexandra Todorov as she visits Waffle On, creators of argueably the most famous waffles in Melbourne. With French hosts and a secret recipe in store, Waffle On certainly is a treat for the senses.’

Trolley Boy

‘Trolley Boy’ was a Second Year production that I completed in Second Semester, for my subject TV2. What we had to do was create a documentary on the theme of ‘belief’, treatment and all. We decided to focus on the belief in learning, and overcoming/learning to cope with something difficult like a learning disability. Our focus was the lovely Robert who really has a heart of gold.

‘Robert is a trolley boy, but he’s many other things as well. Follow him into his classroom, his world of learning and his life experiences and see how much it all means to him.’
