Living Memories Website

In Multimedia Projects on October 23, 2008 at 1:14 pm

The ‘Living Memories’ website is a holding space for the works of the Production Project 2 ‘Living Memories’ students in their Second Semester of Third Year. It is a creative space that allows the user to view the videos in their own time in an aesthetically pleasing holding space that complements the documentaries. The website is a collaboration between myself, David Carlin, Joelle Low and the ‘Meanwhile’ RMIT Post Graduate students.

*At time of publishing the ‘Living Memories’ website was not complete.

(un)tethered metaphors

In Multimedia Projects on October 23, 2008 at 12:39 pm

‘(un)tethered metaphors’ is an online interactive multimedia project I created in Second Year in First Semester in my subject Integrated Media 1.'(un)tethered metaphors’ further explores ideas from ‘Small Pieces Loosely Joined – A Unified Theory of the Web’ by Peter Weinberger. This project was an individual project which I wholly conceptualised and created myself.

‘Follow the untethering threads to turn wholes into fragments and fragments into wholes. Explore the relationship between metaphor and the everyday mundane.’

Reverse Propaganda

In Multimedia Projects on October 23, 2008 at 12:21 pm

‘Reverse Propaganda’ was created in Third Year in First Semester in my subject Production Project 1. Basically we had to conceptualise and create a media object based on the theme of ‘control’, in relation to the text ‘Convergence Culture’ by Henry Jenkins.

‘Making people think what they don’t want to think and challenging beliefs, ‘Reverse Propaganda’ is a timewarp for the mind and social contexts.’
